My name is Laura Lazzaretto, I was born and grew up in a small village in the countryside, not far from Venice in the northeast of Italy. Since November 2020 I moved to my partner Pieter Vivijs, with whom I share the passion for dogs.

The first dog who entered my life was a Golden Retriever in 1994, and from that moment on, this breed has never left me, having had the great fortune of making this great passion into my job.

I’m currently breeding Golden Retriever under the kennel name Think Twice, which gives the name to our “Think Twice Luxury Dog Hotel” too.

During my long career as a breeder, I have been fortunate enough to make many Champions, and from 2018 I’m an FCI International Field Trial judge.

I have been a professional groomer since 2000, and have had my own salon for almost 15 years, providing both commercial grooming for all breeds, and show preparation for all breeds of FCI Group 7 and 8. I have taught many training courses, and many students have gone on to open their own businesses after attending my shop.

My decades of experience as a breeder, allows me to manage a dog at every stage of its life; from the puppy stage, to the senior dog, passing through the adult dog, with all their differences and needs.
